Iryna Kuchma, EIFL Open Access Programme Manager, will speak at a two-day seminar on open access for university librarians and research officers from major universities in Kyrgyzstan. 

The seminar is part of the EIFL-supported ‘Building the foundation for Open Access development across universities in Kyrgyzstan’ project, which is being implemented by EIFL’s partners, the Kyrgyzstan Library Information Consortium (KLIC)  and the American University of Central Asia (AUCA). The seminar will take place at AUCA.

Kuchma will speak about open access development at the seminar, which will also include hands-on sessions on open repositories, Creative Commons licences and other topics related to scholarly communication.
