
EIFL will participate in the Fifth International Scientific Conference in Ukraine with the theme Open Science and Innovations. The conference is an important platform for dialogue among researchers, policymakers and other stakeholders to support effective implementation of the National Action Plan on Open Science and alignment with the Roadmap for Ukraine’s Integration into the European Research Area.
EIFL’s Open Access Programme Manager, Iryna Kuchma, will speak on “Open science: What's new and how you can get involved”.
Milica Ševkušić, EIFL-OA Project Coordinator, will discuss “Success Beyond Indexing: How do we measure the performance of Diamond Open Access journals?”.
EIFL Copyright and Libraries Programme Manager, Teresa Hackett, will present “Copyright in Ukraine: opportunities and engagement”.
The conference is organized by the State Scientific and Technical Library of Ukraine and TIB Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology University Library with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. It is part of Open Access Week 2026.
