Recording of an EIFL webinar (1hour 32 minutes) on optimizing journal processes and workflows. Panellists Jenni Lauwrens from the Image & Text journal, Thierry Luescher from the Journal of Student Affairs in Africa and Tom Kwanya from the Regional Journal of Information and Knowledge Management share their experiences of developing workflows for processing journal articles and improving publication workflows; reducing manuscript turnaround times, and moving journal workflows (from submission to publication) to Open Journal Systems (OJS). They also discuss developing operational manuals for journals; revising journal policies and mentorship programmes for journal staff.
