This infographic was created by EIFL to support university and research libraries and open science trainers to help researchers and students to understand sharing research software.

Research software includes code, algorithms, workflows and executables created for research. Although research software is a valuable research output, it often remains undocumented and inaccessible. The infographic, Sharing Research Software, highlights the benefits of open software for transparency, collaboration, and recognition. It also  outlines the key steps for making code discoverable and reusable.

In addition to the PDF (click the button on the left) we are sharing an editable PowerPoint version of the resource that you can translate or adapt for different contexts. Click here to download.
